Back in Mauritius - 21/12/2011

Well, we are back home SAFE and SOUND after 20 days visiting INCREDIBLE India.

We landed at 9.15 am and reached home an hour later. I spent the whole day in my bed sleeping and was up only after 5pm. What a big adventure it was indeed! Fortunately our health seems to be ok . . . time will say. Sultan prepared an excellent mauritian dinner for us (lentils, fricasé chouchou, roasted meat and salad).

I am so sad to say it but in India our worst experience was with food. Food is cheap but although we did our best in selecting our food and restaurant, we both had health problems and we finally decide that the best way to survive that incredible journey was "mine Appolo, KFC and MC Donald"...  I know its a shame to visit the heaven of spices and to eat fast food but all the seventeen members of our group had health problems and some were ill during the whole trip because they did not stop eating local food. We brought an electric kettle and it saved our lives. A thumb up to Feeroza's friend Zaheen who gave us that bright idea.

I will be processing the thousands of photos and the videos I made and hope to upload some here soon. Keep visiting my blog for more stories on INCREDIBLE INDIA. . .

A big thank you to you all who have been following our adventures and more stories to come soon.
