Today Monday 28/11/2011 Starting to prepare for the long journey

Hi! everybody,

Today we started to prepare our luggage for the big event. Feeroza prepared the clothes and did some ironing. I started to prepare the house for Sultan who will be alone and he will have to do everything by himself in our absence. We dug the water drainage canal right in the middle of the yard to allow rain water to quickly evacute the yard in case thers is torrential rain as it's the beginning of summer here and we are expecting heavy rainfall.

As some of you are aware, I am still suffering from the throat infection and still taking antibiotics. I am feeling better now but still it's there to remind me of that Friday afternoon when I decided to visit my dentist. I wanted to make sure that I do not have any dental problem away from home and ended up sick before starting the journey . It's crazy how some medical practitioners are not concerned by basic hygiene, its a shame. I will have to look for another dentist next time.

Today we had some visitors coming to wish us "bon voyage". They were Rosida and Hawabi both Feeroza's sisters and their husbands Amad and Mood respectively.

Expect to see more information posted here and some photos once we are on the move. Below is a brief description of the journey as planned by the tour organiser.
